NATIONWIDE HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY
Thuy Nguyen International General Hospital accepts every health insurance card registered at medical facilities nationwide:
- • No referral letter needed: Patients with a health insurance card receive 100% of their entitled benefits for both inpatient and outpatient care.
- • Direct billing support: State health insurance and private health insurance can be combined to minimise costs for patients.
- • Quick check-in: We accept paper insurance cards, chip-based citizen ID cards or the VssID / VNeID apps.

DIRECT BILLING INSURANCE
We offer direct billing with partner health insurers, so you do not need to pay the full cost up front:
- • Coverage: Inpatient treatment, surgery, maternity and selected outpatient services according to your policy benefits.
- • What to bring: Your health insurance card (physical or digital) and the insured person's citizen ID card.
- • How it works: Show your card at reception and we send the guarantee request to your insurer; you only pay costs outside your coverage.
ADMISSION & TREATMENT PROCEDURE
Our admission process is streamlined so you can start treatment sooner:
- • Step 1 – Reception: Present your ID, health insurance card or private insurance card at reception.
- • Step 2 – Examination: The doctor examines you and prescribes admission when inpatient treatment is needed.
- • Step 3 – Admission: Complete the admission paperwork, pay the deposit (if any) and move into your room.
- • Step 4 – Discharge: Settle your bill and receive your prescription, discharge papers and follow-up schedule.
